Can I use the Omni Lite with a newborn? Yes. The Omni Lite is newborn-ready from 3.2 kg with no infant insert needed. Ergobaby carriers should not be used with babies under 3.2 kg.
Can my baby face outwards in the Omni Lite? No. The Omni Lite has one position: front carry, facing in. If you'd like a forward-facing option later on, the Omni Classic or Omni Deluxe offers four positions.
How long can I use the Omni Lite? Until your baby is around 24 months, or 15.9 kg, whichever comes first.
Is the Omni Lite good for hot weather? It's available in breathable Cool Air Mesh, which helps keep you both cooler. In hot weather, keep carries shorter, dress your baby lightly and watch for signs of overheating.
Can I breastfeed in the Omni Lite? Yes, you can breastfeed while your baby is in the carrier. Once they've finished feeding, return them to an upright position with their face visible and kissable.
Is the Omni Lite machine washable? Yes. Check the care label on your carrier for washing instructions.
Is the Omni Lite hip healthy? Yes. The International Hip Dysplasia Institute has acknowledged it as a hip-healthy product.
